The Role

As a new member of the team you will be a part of the overall operations of the venue. You will ensure that guest experience is second to none and that you help to optimize sales and streamline the capacity we have with our numerous Oche’s, bar and well-functioning kitchen. Duties will include
- Welcome guests to the venue
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Manage reservations
- Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas
- Greet customers upon their departure
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries

About you

We are looking for someone who loves working with people. Someone who is passionate about the hospitality industry and is always thinking of ways to improve the customer journey. Being a team player and helping others is something that will come naturally to you and you will always be striving for perfection in the work you do. We are looking for someone who is curious, patient, proactive and service minded and has a real passion for the food and drink industry

Experience you will need.
- At least 1 years experience as a Host/Hostess
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Experience in managing reservations
- Demonstrable customer-service skills
- Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
- Availability to work in shifts as needed
- Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
