[lta-tt] Executive Engineer

Singapore LTA Land Transport Authority Full time

You will be part of a team spearheading the research, development and maintenance management of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) to improve the safety and efficiency of the road network and to better meet the needs of commuters.

You will also be required to collaborate with internal LTA teams and external parties in establishing engineering requirements and performance specifications and handling queries pertaining to ITS under your charge, as part of the project and maintenance management work scope. You will be expected to keep abreast of latest mobility-related technology, development and digital innovations as well as future mobility trends.

Requirement
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong knowledge in programming languages (e.g. Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, SQL, R, etc.)
- Familiar with traffic simulation platform (e.g. Aimsun, PTV Visum, PTV Vissim, etc.)
- Knowledge in statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms will be advantageous
- Good writing, communication and presentation skills with strong command in English
- Resourceful and possess strong initiative as well as keen interest in problem-solving
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Have strong sense of responsibility and strong analytical mind
