**Objective**:
The procurement team leader will lead a team of purchasing, will be responsible for overseeing daily purchasing operations, procurement process, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationship, stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. This role also will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and develop procurement strategies, continuously seek opportunities to improve the procurement process that align with the company’s goals.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the procurement team.
- Train and develop team members.
- Oversee the procurement process from start to finish.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the procurement process.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the procurement process.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Manage supplier relationships.
- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their needs.
- Ensure that all goods and services are acquired at the best possible price and quality.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze market trends.
- Manage the procurement budget.
- Monitoring and ensuring achieving the target levels for related team KPIs / SLAs
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure storage requirements are met.
- Coordinating with logistics for the collection of goods
- Ensure that the procurement team meets its performance targets.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management or Engineering is preferable.
- 5 years in procurement, including at least 3 years in supervisory function
- Experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing fields, preferred for civil, mechanical, and electrical or electronics industries
- Lean Six Sigma Oriented and applied for administrative processes

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentaility.
- Thorough knowledge of best pratice purchasing and planning systems and processes.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient and experience with ERP system - Business Central.

**Benefits**:

- Salary ranges from $3500 ~ $3800 based on experience

**Physical Requirements**:

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
- Travel to the site to have a project meeting, if necessary.
- Travel to oversea to procure the goods.
