The Job:
**AR Billing**
- Process all billing requests, billing cancellations and generate credit / debit notes
- Mediate and solve AR invoice disputes
- Prepare AR aging report and customer statement of accounts
- Coordinate on the approval of bad debts write off forms
- To provide necessary support during internal and external audit
- Assist in bank reconciliations
- Prepare rebates provision on monthly basis

**Credit Control**
- Conduct new customers' financial background and reference checks to verify creditworthiness. Provide check results to facilitate decisions on credit limit/term assignments
- Track the credit and collection history of existing customers. Analyse customers' payment performance and check for potential credit risks to mitigate potential payment defaults
- Follow-up on payments due and check against assigned credit limit/term. Highlight potential debt recovery issues and suggest solutions to recover debts including legal proceedings
- Coordinate activities related to renegotiation of customer payment plans and reassignment of credit limits to ensure recoverability of debts
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline existing credit control processes and improve efficiencies through a better utilization of automated systems
- Work closely with internal stakeholders in monitoring collections (e.g. days sales outstanding, monthly collection targets, etc.) and resolving customer payment issues with regular meeting/discussion
- Review customer credit situation and work closely with respective sales team in facilitating order release

**AR Collection**
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up for timely payment of outstanding invoices
- Assist in posting of receipts for collection and ensure receipts are posted against bank statement on timely basis
- Ensure banking and cash handling procedure are adhered accordingly and highlight to manager when necessary
- Update and monitor the list of unreconciled receipts
- Debtors’ reconciliations and confirmations, including inter-company transactions

**Other Responsibilities**
- Propose any changes to the AR processes
- Update SOP as and when changes are made to AR process
- Brief respective sales team on AR process when required
- Any ad hoc duties assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- Proven 2-3 years' experience of client facing collections in MNC collections environment is desirable
- Meticulous, collaborative and able to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Able to start work with immediate notice
- Proficient in MS Excel & MS Word

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

- 13th month salary
- Performance bonus
