**Responsibilities**
- Maintain an overview of the Offices and Fleet Vetting performance in line with the client requirements.
- Coordinate with the Marine/HSEQ teams regarding significant issues such as vessel rejections, the client responses, technical holds, the outcome of the client / management reviews and any other matter that may negatively impact the office / fleet.
- Develop improvement initiatives for improving the client ratings of vessels in all offices, improve DOC score of all offices.
- Suggest and drive improvements in SMS, related to DBMS, with aim of improving ratings in the standards.
- Suggest improvements to Marine Managers in analysis and corrective actions for the client observations.
- Carry out Annual Reviews of the Company’s DBMS declarations with the Marine Managers, to drive improvement initiatives and best practices.
- Develop and build liaison relations on behalf of WSM with external vetting bodies.
- Participate, conduct, and evaluate incident investigations as tasked by GHSEQ.
- Contribute and participate in DC Committee reviews as tasked by Manager.
- Assist GHSEQ in projects/development initiatives as well as preparation of reports as tasked by Manager.

Involved in the training of newly recruited Marine Managers and Superintendents.

**Requirements**:

- Master of Chief Officer with seagoing experience in dry fleet.
- Good command of oral and written English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to develop close relationships with shipboard staff, vessel owners, charterers as well as internal and external support functions including DBMS Regimes.
