Indoor Sales Executive

The Indoor Sales Executive is responsible for generating sales leads and converting them into customers within an indoor sales environment. This role involves effectively communicating with potential customers, understanding their needs, and presenting suitable product or service solutions. The Indoor Sales Executive plays a vital role in achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
**Job Scope**:
Phaos Technology, is an advanced microscopy technology company originated from NUS with patented Optical Microsphere Nanoscope (OMN) technology, developed with NRF grant, to be commercialized into super-resolution optical microscope products and business.
Sales Engineer shall be responsible for:
- Sales Generation: Generate leads and convert them into sales by effectively pitching products or services, highlighting their features, benefits, and value propositions.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the organization's products or services, staying up to date with product enhancements and updates, and effectively communicate their value to customers.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales process to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Sales Process Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead qualification, needs analysis, product presentation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively managing time, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining a consistent sales pipeline.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including customer interactions, sales activities, and revenue forecasts, using relevant sales software or CRM systems.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new sales opportunities and improve sales strategies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, such as marketing and customer support, to align sales efforts, share customer insights, and enhance overall customer experience.
- Continuous Learning: Continuously enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and industry trends through training programs, workshops, and self-study.
**Job Requirements**:
- Proven experience in indoor sales or a similar customer-facing role, preferably in a related industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage with customers.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to drive sales conversions.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using sales software or CRM systems to manage customer interactions and sales data.
- Good knowledge of the product or service being sold, along with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and features.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
