**Responsibilities**
- Assist Department Head to achieve the underwriting profit budget set by the Company
- Evaluate, underwrite and quote risks for commercial classes in line with Company’s underwriting guidelines
- Place / Assist facultative reinsurance and ensure contract certainty documentation is fulfilled
- Prepare insurance summaries, renewal invite and actively pursue renewable business to achieve high persistency targets
- Ensure premiums are collected within premium warranty framework
- Issue cover notes, certificates of insurance, instructions for issuance of policies and preparation of monthly business reports
- Undertake any other assignments as allocated

**Requirements**:

- Minimally Diploma in any discipline
- Possession of Certificate in General Insurance will be an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to put customers at the core of the business
- Ability to work well in a team
