Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Church Office Manager for all Human Resource and Accounting matters, the HR and Accounts Executive/Assistant’s role and responsibilities are:
- **Responsibilities**:
- Maintain employee records (soft & hard copies)
- Prepare HR documents like employment contracts, HR policies & procedures.
- Update HR data bases (e.g. new hire, medical, annual leave)
- Provide orientation training for new hire to explain HR policies, employee welfare & safety.
- Liaise with relevant government agencies to ensure legal compliance and MOM’s survey.
- Assist in payroll preparation and related government claims (NS/ Maternity/ Paternity/ Childcare Leave) and all kinds of government grants.
- Assist general accounting duties (e.g. invoice processing, issuance of cheque and payment vouchers, counting offerings, banking & reconciliation).
- Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries into accounting system.
- Assist in other general administrative or ad-hoc duties assigned by the Pastors & Church Office Manager.
**Requirements**:
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude, meticulous and possess strong honesty, integrity and confidentiality.
- Diploma/Degree in human resource or minimum 3 years of relevant experiences.
- Knowledge of MOM regulations & employment act
- Hands on experience with TIMES HR system
- Hands on experience with ACCPAC Accounting system
- Required to work on Sunday (off on weekdays)
