Snr Manager, Regional Distribution

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Take full ownership and drive best-in-class operations excellence for short, mid and long-term distribution challenges and warehouse solutions
- Proactively manage 3PL performance via Distribution metrics such as - not limited to; Capacity management (storage, inbound/outbound throughput, improved services), Inbound on time, Outbound on time and Costs vs. budget
- Provide strong governance and actively lead gap closure towards appointed 3PL, ensuring performance vs. service level agreement and in line with LEGO Group standards
- Partner with Procurement team to ensure supplier service meets business requirements and see opportunities for continuous improvement. Provide regular feedback on 3PL performance and suggestions for improvements of supplier partnership
- Remodel local/regional/global collaboration across The LEGO Group. Actively engage partners such as Manufacturing sites, Supply & Inventory Planning, Supply Chain Development, Transportation, Local Distribution managers, Import Export and Finance to meet service/cost/inventory objectives for the region
- Proactively manage RDC partners to ensure that RDC fulfills business requirements and day-to-day operations enable sales and service towards LDC’s
- Lead and engage in cross-functional supply chain improvement projects for APAC & China

- The role is part of APAC & China Distribution team which is responsible for bringing products from manufacturing sites to the hands of shoppers and children. The China RDC role is responsible for leading the heart of our APAC China supply footprint. Bridging manufacturing sites (inbound) with the needs of the local markets (outbound) which are served via LDC footprint. The role will report to the Snr Director, APAC & China Distribution.

**Do you have what it takes?**
- Preferably with Engineering or Operations and Supply Chain Management background
- Certification in LEAN thinking or Six Sigma methodology, and Project management would be a plus
- Working experience with APAC & China supply chain management and working experience with Logistics & Distribution for leading FMCG/Consumer Goods/Luxury brands
- Demonstrated knowledge in managing regional Distribution operations, proven experience in managing 3PL’s and complex partner environment
- Passion for delivering results through teamwork and collaboration, with strong communication and leadership skills
- Proven track record in managing senior level partners at local/regional/global level, working in a diverse and multi-functional environment
- Team oriented, possesses good interpersonal and communication skills and strong personal drive to manage assigned responsibilities independently
- Strong problem solving skills, root cause analysis, and presentation skills
- Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills with colleagues and partners
- Thrives as part of an organization under continuous development and growth
- Dedicated and proactive character, taking ownership and leading own area
- Capable to impact the organization broadly by own initiative
- Past experience demonstrating success in leading cross-functional Supply Chain improvement projects
- Advanced English
- Mandarin an advantage
