Claims Analyst manages the Motor claims book and support the A&H lines including Third Party liability claims
Claims Analyst managing the Motor claims book and supporting the Accident & Health (A&H) lines including Third Party liability claims, which includes:
- Possess business acumen in managing customers. Attend to claimant queries and address them on issues arising from a motor accident and/or A&H related matters.
- Investigate and evaluate the all types of Motor claims by ensuring the validity of the claim according to the policy terms and conditions.
- Support claim processing of A&H claims
- Ensure claim reserves are adequate and adjustments are made in a timely manner.
- Ensure reasonable and fair settlement offer are being made to our insured, third party or solicitor.
- Perform regular review of claim files to ensure reserve adequacy and provide recommendation appropriately.
- Maintain good industry trends, analyse the impact and make good recommendation to identify and mitigate the risk of fraud, waste and abuse.
- Mentor junior colleagues in claim assessment and management skills.
- Work with recovery team to ensure recoveries target are being met.
- Support Claims Manager in regular reviews of the existing appointed surveyor and list of authorized workshops, internal and/or external audits.
- Support Claims Manager in proposing appropriate improvements in existing standard operating procedure (SOP) or any other service practices to elevate teams performance.
