**Job Description
The Mizuho Securities’ Fixed Income Local Currency Cash Trading Trading team, based in Singapore, services our global customer base in AUD, CNH & HKD Government, and credit product.

The role within Local Currency Cash Trading is three-fold:
1. To provide liquidity to Mizuho’s customer base in our chosen product space - whilst effectively managing the risk on the Bank’s balance sheet. Liquidity is generated by working closely with the Sales force and Customers - presenting them with market colour, pricing information and trade ideas in a timely, consistent, and interesting format. We work towards growing that pool of liquidity by pitching and onboarding new customers across all jurisdictions.

2. To work with the DCM and Syndicate teams to create an end to end franchise capability through idea generation, information flow and warehousing of select risk.

3. To continuously develop and enhance tools for the pricing, publishing and relative value analysis of our product.

**Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include and not be limited to the following:

- Proactively manage the risk on the balance sheet, providing market colour and trade ideas to both internal sales and external customers
- Primary focus will be supporting the senior traders across the AUD ACGB/SSA/Credit books helping to provide a continuous high-quality offering to clients
- Prepare daily runs/commentaries/trade ideas to engage both internal sales and external customers
- Prepare P&L, risk, and flow reports to assist in the risk management decision process

**Role Prerequisites
- Degree qualified
- Minimum 2 years of Government/Credit/SSA fixed income trading experience in either a primary risk taking or support capacity. Specific AUD fixed income experience is preferred
- Strong quantitative skills
- General understanding of the AUD fixed income market and its pricing conventions
- Adaptable, energetic, looking to grow and expand skill sets and is a business builder
