Assistant Vice President, Group HR Services

Job Description
The incumbent will lead the Group HR Services team in supporting the employee life cycle activities, delivering HR services (which includes Payroll related activities) to SingPost Group.
This role will report to the Deputy Vice President, Group HR Services Delivery (HRSD).- Oversee and manage the employee lifecycle processing - broadly in regards to onboarding, contract management, employee data management in Workday.-
- Lead the HR processes such as work pass, L&D operations, WICA and related.-
- Lead in ensuring HR processes are in compliance and up to date.-
- Appointed lead and point of contact for HR compliance, audit and employee data related matters and activities.-
- Drive and conduct regular review to ensure related HR policies are up to date and processes are tight. Recommendations on enhancements and/or improvements to the processes.-
- Manage and build good working relationships with multiple stakeholders, i.e. business and support units within the SingPost Group as well as external parties, particularly Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and other government offices.-
- Team development and management.- REQUIREMENTS- Broad functional knowledge of HR processes.-
- In-depth technical competencies in Workday will be preferred.-
- Good stakeholder management skills.-
- Experience in implementing continuous process improvement.-
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to convey business requirements and technical needs in a clear, concise, and effective manner.-
- Strong and meticulous team leader with good interpersonal skills who can work under pressure and tight deadlines.-
- Conversant with HR practices and knowledge of the Employment Act and statutory requirements in relations to employment.-
- Resourceful, strong analytical skills and able to think operationally and strategically, as well as self-driven, resilient, hands-on problem-solver.-
- Possess high degree of confidentiality.- QUALIFICATIONS- Degree in related discipline with at least 10 years of relevant work experience-
- Minimum 4 years of people management experience, leading a small team of 4-5 HR generalists
