**Purpose of Position**

To oversee the whole accounts receivable in efficiently managing the collections of all customer invoices and ensure that the KPIs are align with the company objectives.

**Key Tasks**
- Proactively identify areas for improvements and efficiently work closely with sales, operations, and other internal stakeholders.
- Direct oversight that all overdue, claims and issues are followed through in a timely manner.
- Analyze the risk factors of delinquent accounts and initiate collection plan. Discuss with the related parties (sales, operations, and customer).
- Review customers account that outside their approved credit terms and coordinate with sales.
- Do customer visits with sales team to get familiarity with the account and build relationship with the customer.
- Prepare correspondence on delinquent accounts requiring special handling.
- Coordinate and supervise the placement and collection process of customer accounts, ensuring timely and close follow up with attorneys.
- Liaise with Shared Service Centre on cash allocation, cheque processing and refund etc.
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of Bill-To Parties and data.
- Collaborate with the team for month-end closing, interim and year-end audits.

Team Management:

- Mentoring and training of team members
- Tracking of team’s performance and ensure KPIs are met
- Organize meeting to discuss and resolve operational and technical issues.
- Ensure back up support is in place

- Any other job-related tasks as assigned by the superior.

**Experience & Education**
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting/Business or equivalent
- 4 years or above Credit Control/ Accounts receivable team lead experience
- General accounting knowledge required
- Forwarding industry knowledge preferred
