**Job Overview**

Operations and distribution executive working directly with a single portfolio management team to support the development of its business and increase assets under management. The role presents an opportunity to contribute personally to the success of a maturing funds management business and to be rewarded accordingly.

This role is based in Singapore, will involve regular travel within the Asia Pacific region and is likely to involve additional travel to Europe and the United States.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Work closely with the portfolio management team providing support on all business matters
- Manage the operational aspects of the business and multiple liquid alternative funds products including, but not limited to, the processes relating to trade execution, NAV reporting, position-keeping, P&L analysis, pricing/valuations, reconciliations, settlements, trade capture, compliance reporting, financial reporting, financial budgeting, fund audits, client onboarding, AML/KYC, subscriptions/redemptions, human resources and business strategy planning etc.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external service providers to the funds and the business, such as legal, prime brokerage, bankers, accountants, administrators, auditors.
- Continuously monitor, review and, where appropriate, upgrade operational policies and procedures
- Manage the distribution strategy for multiple liquid alternative funds products.
- Generate quality sales opportunities that comply with all regulatory, legal and ethical standards for the company.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, private banks, family offices and HNWIs globally.
- Co-ordinate and manage collegiate working relationships with counterparties at prime brokerage consultancy arms, third party distribution agents and platforms that participate in our distribution ecosystem.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant work experience with quality financial institutions
- 10+ years' relevant experience in asset management, bank, hedge fund or trading firm
- Excellent knowledge of and experience in asset management operations
- Senior management and corporate governance experience
- Demonstrable track record in driving efficiencies and streamlining of processes
- Ability to work to deadlines and to operate effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills (written/verbal)
- Must be hands-on while also bringing experience managing teams and effective people management skills
- Proven ability to work with teams across various geographical locations
- Professional certification e.g. CFA, CPA preferred but not required;
- Direct experience in alternatives fund sales and existing network of contacts is considered a plus
