Senior Academic Instructor

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- In small groups, teach and conduct coding, STEM and technology-related projects for Pre-School & Primary School students.
- Oversee curriculum delivery: Ensure that teaching staff deliver the curriculum effectively and efficiently. Monitor the quality of teaching and learning and
- provide feedback and support as needed.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies: Work with teaching staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies that enhance students engagement and learning outcomes.
- Take up teaching duties if the need arises: Take up teaching duties when needed, including covering regular classes, holidays, and special programs.
- Ensure that the teaching staff deliver lessons that are engaging and meet the expectations of students and parents.
- Design, prepare and deliver lessons to teach the basic knowledge, and techniques, support and enhance learners’ understanding of Coding, STEM and technology.
- Oversee and conduct training for AI, coding, and robotics-related competitions.
- Ensure the programs are engaging, interactive, challenging, and meet the diverse needs of students. Lead the development of curriculum programs that are aligned with international standards and best practices.
- Assist and support the R&D team to research and develop new class curriculum, content, and exercises for students with a focus on AI concepts.
- Review and improve on current content/curriculum with our internal or external partners.
- Stay up-to-date with education trends and best practices. Keep abreast of new research and innovations in teaching and learning.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the planned curriculum: Assess the impact and effectiveness of the planned curriculum on teaching and learning acrosslevels regularly and make changes as needed.
- Develop close relationships with students and parents to understand their needs and ensure that the team delivers lessons that are up to expectations.
- Ensure that parents are regularly informed of their children's progress and address any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with other departments: Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to teaching and learning across Titan Tech Academy.
- Assist in business development and lead the conceptualization, brainstorming, and execution of internal and external events to engage potential
- customers on the importance and relevance of AI and programming events & classes.
- Plan manpower requirement: Plan and forecast the manpower requirements of teaching and curriculum staff to ensure that the enrichment centres have the necessary resources to deliver a quality curriculum.
- Involvement in the recruitment of teaching and curriculum staff: Participate in the recruitment process of teaching and curriculum staff, including screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Complete all duties assigned by the management team: Complete all duties assigned by the management team in a timely and professional manner.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree or Diploma in an Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Science related field.
- Good programming background with a positive learning attitude.
- Experience with working with young children will be a plus.
- Must be proficient in using Scratch and/or Python in teaching and curriculum research.
- Must be proficient in using Scratch Interactive Programming and/or Python Series Programming for courseware compilation.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching or as an instructor, with a focus on AI or Coding, Robotics.
- Highly motivated, and self-starter with a growth mindset. Ability to analyze and interpret data for informed decision-making
- Have a pleasant, positive and optimistic personality. You believe in doing things well in a personal and professional capacity.
- Work well in a small team setting or individually. [& independently]
- Have high self-standard and like to think of ways to improve things.
- Knowledge of current STEM education trends and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
- Required to work on four weekdays and one day over the weekend
- Preferably MOE registered for Instructor

**Salary**: $5,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- Lower Secondary Qualification (preferred)
