**Position Overview**:
As a Sales Representative for a student hostel, your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell accommodations to prospective students. You will play a crucial role in driving occupancy rates, maintaining customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the hostel. Your key objectives will include generating leads, conducting tours, and closing sales.
**Responsibilities**:
- Actively seek out and identify potential customers, such as local and international students, educational institutions, and student-related organizations.
- Utilize various sales techniques, including cold calling, online marketing, and networking, to generate leads and attract prospective students.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about student housing trends, competitor offerings, and demand patterns.
- Tour Management and Sales Presentations:
- Organize and conduct tours of the hostel premises, highlighting its features, amenities, and advantages.
- Clearly communicate the value proposition of the hostel and answer any questions or concerns raised by potential customers.
- Customize sales presentations to address the specific needs and preferences of individual students or groups.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including students, parents, educational institutions, and student organizations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries, concerns, and requests for information from prospective and current residents.
- Collaborate with the hostel management team to ensure a seamless move-in process for new residents.
- Sales Administration and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, including lead generation, tours conducted, and sales conversions.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the real estate, hospitality, or student accommodation industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with prospective students, parents, and educational institutions.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in using digital tools for sales outreach and reporting.
- Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends to accommodate potential customers' schedules.
