You will work for Worldline’s Merchant Services Global Business Line. This is a major international player in end-to-end Commercial Acquiring, Multichannel Payment Acceptance and Payment Terminal solutions. Merchant Services’ unique combination of payment, digital and transactional expertise allows merchants to boost sales and enhance the customer experience.

**Day-to-Day Responsibilities**
- Evaluate existing systems and architectures, conducting comprehensive analyses to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Engage with stakeholders to thoroughly understand business requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
- Develop detailed architectural blueprints and technical documentation to guide seamless implementation of systems.
- Mentor team members on industry practices and technologies, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and supporting skill development.

**What are we looking for**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in the Loyalty, Card Payment, Digital Payment, or Banking industry is advantageous.
- Extensive knowledge of Java technologies, frameworks, RESTful web services, and JUnit.
- Proficient in SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar database technologies.
- Solid experience in designing microservices architecture, software optimization, and container deployments (OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Competent in architecting infrastructure solutions using Linux/Unix and Windows, with recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, and storage architectures.
- Experience architecting or deploying cloud/virtualization solutions for enterprise customers.
- Familiarity with PaaS architecture and implementation using frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Dataflow.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Knowledge of microservices development and design patterns.
- Ability to engage with product development teams to design, develop, and document solutions.
- Experience as an architect for multiple large-scale product or enterprise initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks and design patterns.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure security, compliance, and operations.
- Experience designing complex solutions with microservices, messaging, streaming, and batch processing technologies.
- Proficiency with engineering tools including IDEs, debuggers, profilers, version control systems (GitLab, Git, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Artifactory).
- Excellent knowledge of agile software development methodologies and industry best practices.
- Genuine interest in technology and software development with high levels of self-motivation.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with mínimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong English communication skills (written and oral).
- Willingness to travel when needed.
