Senior Director, Equity Advisory - APAC
**Location**: Singapore

Our Equity Advisory team provide real estate strategic advisory services to corporate and institutional clients throughout Asia Pacific including fund raising, equity advisory and M&A. Reporting to the Head of Equity Advisory - Asia Pacific, we are currently looking to hire a Senior Director, Equity Advisory to help grow our Equity Advisory business. Based in Singapore, this role will drive our equity advisory business throughout Asia Pacific pursuing and executing equity advisory transactions across the region with a focus on the growing data centre market and other alternative asset classes.

**What this job involves**:
Being a self-starter
You will work with the broader Capital Markets team and focus on generating ideas, identifying opportunities, and executing Equity Advisory transactions with a strong focus in the data centre space and other alternative asset classes.

Having a strategic and business first mind-set
Does generating new business light a fire in you? We, too, are just as passionate about supporting new clients as we are about deepening our relationships with existing clients. This is a high visibility role and you will act as an ambassador and key point of contact for clients to present JLL’s Equity Advisory team as a thoughtful and trusted advisor. You’ll also develop a strategic focus on sourcing and executing opportunities for a variety of equity advisory mandates including JV’s, M&A and Equity Advisory trades. You will utilise our existing network and collaborate with our sector specialists across various business lines helping our clients meet their realised and unrealised ambitions.

Knowing your numbers
You’ll lead the preparation of company valuation models and perform a variety of key analyses including ROIC, accretion and dilution, comparable company and discounted cash flow. In addition, you will play the key analytical role in analysis of impending and ongoing transactions.

Fostering Collaboration

You’ll be working with various people across the business including the broader Capital Markets and Research teams as well as the Global Equity Advisory team to maximize business opportunities and implement best practices.

Knowing the industry participants
You have a good network across Infrastructure, Real Estate and Private Equity platforms, including relevant managers being active in the alternative asset classes with a more operational component.

International Real Estate Experience

A Corporate Finance Guru
Do you have strong Investment Banking or Private Equity Real Estate experience? You should have in depth corporate finance experience and be accustomed to working with funds, investment banks, family offices and sovereign capital. You will have a proven track record in transaction structuring and understand the risk reward curve for different structures and investor’s underwriting requirements. You’ll also need to have a strong understanding of private real estate markets and the ability to originate and execute equity placements within the region.

As a collaboration champion, you will need to be very well received internally, too. Your influencing skills will have helped you navigate and succeed in similar large matrix organisations. You thrive on bringing teams together to build bespoke and customised solutions for our clients.
