A great opportunity to join an Investment Bank in Singapore or Sydney as a Senior Sales person.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Equity Derivatives and Equity Finance to drive growth in the profitability of our sales and enhance our client franchise.
You will be joining our fast paced, high performing, collaborative team in Sydney and will be required to drive the sales effort of our Equity Derivatives and Equity Finance product set with local and global clients and to assist with sales of our global products. This role will offer a variety of responsibilities including all aspects of sales from current client coverage to developing new relationships in the market along with generating trading ideas and marketing material.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- significant hands-on experience of Sales and Distribution of a wide spectrum of Equity derivatives and Equity Finance products
- ability to understand our differentiating strengths, to identify, articulate and execute on opportunities that fit with these
- a strong understanding of our products and markets
- existing portfolio of client relationships and the ability to collaborate and leverage the existing sales personnel in other areas of our business.
- a strong understand of client needs across a variety of client segments, such as hedge funds, private banks, real money managers (pension funds, insurance) and agent lenders
- the ability to develop, present and deliver creative and unique solutions for clients
- must be willing and able to engage with prospective client’s senior levels to pitch trades that can be readily implemented
