**Description**:
We are seeking a **Platform & Cloud Engineer** to support one of our client, a leading global investment bank.
- Deploys, supports and maintains client's global Private Cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, software defined network, etc.)
- Advises internal partners on how to leverage the Cloud - Private or Public - to increase the delivery of business value
- Work closely with regional and global teams to support on the platform

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Install, configure and support cloud platform underlying resource plane and control plane infrastructure (hardware and software components)
- Releasing projects and maintenance operations in production without impact
- Be a technical reference for internal partners and advise on standard Cloud practices or innovative solutions to bring value in a competitive and challenging market environment
- Structure and guide our internal partners through their Cloud-Journey, accelerate the adoption of Cloud technologies and best practices, and provide consolidated reporting across the organization
- Create technical content such as reference apps, starter kits and patterns and practical guidance that will get our developers excited about the potential of the Cloud
- Represent the team in various regional and global forums where technical expertise is required
- Be a technical reference and mentor for the team to increase their knowledge about software development & cloud patterns

**Requirements**:

- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Passionate about learning new technologies, sharing knowledge, and solving complex challenges
- Strong automation mindset with little tolerance for repetitive work
- Fluent English is mandatory and excellent communication is a must
- Strong experience with Linux-based Operating System, OpenStack, CEPH, Docker
- Experience with commodity hardware (Dell, HPE, etc.)
- Experience with Kubernetes (or other container technologies) and Databases (PgSQL, NoSQL, etc.)
- Experience with Object Storage (Scality, EMC ECS, etc.), File and Block Storage (Pure, NetApp, EMC, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure automation through CI/CD, DevOps tooling like Python, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Git, Github Actions, etc.
- Knowledge in Public Cloud CPs is a plus (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Exposure to and interest in Cloud technologies
- Well organized, self-motivated, enthusiastic, fast learning, growth mindset
- Team Player and Collaborator with excellent communication skills
