**Responsibilities**:

- Strong market maker for Asian interest rate instruments, particularly in the Chinese and Hong Kong markets, facilitating liquidity and optimizing trading strategies.
- Manage asset-swapped (ASW) portfolios, ensuring consistent profitability while mitigating risk.
- Generate and implement trading strategies to consistently meet revenue targets and enhance the performance of the desk.
- Develop and nurture relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Leverage deep market knowledge to make informed decisions, capitalizing on market inefficiencies and opportunities.
- Stay informed on developments in the Chinese financial markets and other key Asian markets, identifying trends and opportunities that impact the trading landscape.
- Support the development and execution of pricing models, ensuring competitive and accurate pricing for clients and counterparties.

**Requirements**:

- At least 7-10 years of experience in trading interest rate products, preferably in a treasury-related environment, with a focus on Asian markets.
- Strong understanding of Asian financial markets, particularly China and Hong Kong, and the dynamics of interest rate products in these regions.
- Proven experience in managing ASW portfolios, with a solid understanding of pricing techniques, risk management, and market making.
- A strong and consistent track record of generating trading revenue and growing sales franchises in the Asian financial markets.
- Excellent ability to build relationships with internal teams and external clients, with strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a collaborative team-oriented approach.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong risk management and control skills.
