Solution Engineer Manager

**Overview**:
As a **Solution Engineer Manager**, you will be a part of an energetic Baggage Portfolio’s Solution Specialist Team (SST).

This mission-critical group supports the sales organization around the world to convince airports, airlines, and ground handlers of the value of SITA Baggage Portfolio. You will have a unique chance to participate in the ATI industry digital transformation, which is happening right now

In a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will be engaged with presales activities supporting the regional Sales, Business Development and Bid teams, from initial stages to formulating a winning proposal. This key position in our organization constitutes the strong link between central product portfolio teams and Sales geographies. You will also have a key role to play in introducing new products and solutions to the market, defining plans together with Product Management, Sales and Business development teams.

**What you will do**
- Be the prime interface for the Sales geographies (GEO) to support complex deals, non-standard or newly launched products and solutions.
- Be/become a Subject Matter Expert the GEO can rely on to get support from early stages to RFP bids.
- Work closely with the Account Managers and Business Development to create and refine accounts development strategies, in line with Portfolio and Business Unit strategic plans.
- Be the efficient communication channel between central Product Management teams and GEO teams, ensuring roadmaps are well accounted for while market information flow back to Product Managers.
- Actively track, support sales pipeline to ensure portfolio targets are achieved.
- Coordinate multiple parties to define the solutions, such as Engineering, Product Management, Pricing, Delivery, Operations and ultimately get their sign-off on what is proposed by the Sales.
- Actively participate in customer workshops together with the Sales team, attend trade shows and other customer facing events.
- As a team player you will share best practices of your region with the rest of the Solution Specialist Team members to elevate the level of service to the GEO and overall SST efficiency.
- Spanish proficiency is required for the role.

**Qualifications**:
**Who you are
- Seasoned professional in Information Technology, Airline / Airport passenger ground handling or Air Transport Industry technology.
- Proven track record in producing, communicating, and documenting solutions for customers.
- Software engineering background - API, Cloud technologies.
- Commercially minded and technology savvy with excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to articulate and convince customers at various levels with excellent communication skills.
- Capable of interacting with C level decision makers.
- Solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent knowledge of productivity tools like, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Word, Visio etc.
- Knowledge of the aviation technologies for Baggage processing (e.g. BIMs, MDS, BRS, Delayed Baggage and the Baggage Loading.
