**Your Responsibilities**:

- Assemble and test delicate and precision electronics & mechanical assemblies for ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry system) / LC (Liquid Chromatography system).
- Diagnose, repair, and recommend root cause corrective action for defective and non-conforming materials, components, parts, or sub-assemblies.
- Work closely with engineering to develop and improve assembly/test jigs, test methodology to improve cycle time and yield of sub-assemblies through value stream mapping.
- Support building and testing activities for newly developed products / systems (NPI).
- Constantly strive for Continuous Improvement to ensure the product meets customers' expectations in Performance, Quality and Reliability.
- Maintains an organized, clean, and safe (5S) workplace.
- Perform Agile/SAP transactions as part of manufacturing process (training will be provided).
- May provide support duties for one or more manufacturing processes (e.g. packing / maintenance) as required.
- May travel to customer sites occasionally to support field installations.

**Qualifications**:

- Specialized training/certification or Higher Nitec/Nitec or Diploma equivalent education in Electrical & Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical/ Precision/ Biotechnology and related engineering fields.
- 2+ years of working experience as a technician/ operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience working in manufacturing/servicing/assembly of mass spectrometers / analytical instruments would be an added advantage.
- Experience in FDA Class 1 and ISO 13485 environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation (mechanical, electrical and gas flow).
- Working knowledge of SAP preferred.
- Strong engineering, técnical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands on person with good understanding on technical theories and passion in overcoming tough engineering challenges.
- Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Self-motivated independent worker who exhibits great teamwork.
