**Roles & Responsibilities
The Biofuels Origination Lead will be responsible for the development of sourcing capabilities for biofuels and feedstocks across Asia Pacific with a key focus on China. This person will be required to actively engage with companies involved in the refining, distribution, transportation, storage, blending & sale of biofuels and its associated feedstocks.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Origination of new suppliers, counterparties, and deal structures to develop and deepen margin potential for the business in the long-term
- Structuring, negotiation, and development of biofuels & feedstocks and product flows for the trading team
- Analysis of international sustainability mandates to ensure new and existing suppliers are/remain adherent to regulations
- Detailed analysis of Asia supply flows for biofuels/feedstocks and it’s impact on markets outside of Asia

**Essential Pre-Requisites**
- A minimum of a Master’s degree
- Experience in biofuels origination with existing network of suppliers across Asia Pacific (in particular China)
- Expert knowledge on existing international sustainability mandates pertaining to biofuels and feedstocks
- Prior or existing experience in analytics of supply flows for biofuels and feedstocks across Asia is fundamental
- Excellent team player with strong commercial experience in a global biofuels trading business
- Fluency (both in speech and writing) in English, Mandarin and Spanish is essential in order to negotiate contracts with Chinese-speaking external counterparties in China and manage relationships with internal Spanish speaking stakeholders in Madrid
