We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Senior Vice President, Asset Liability & Capital Management (ALCM).**

**Principal Responsibilities**

Sitting within the Finance team, SG ALCM is a first line of defence team responsible for managing HSBC Singapore’s Treasury Risks; comprising of funding & liquidity risk, interest rate risk, capital management and recovery and resolution. The team’s responsibilities include managing HSBC Singapore’s balance sheets, and optimizing profitability through efficient allocation and utilization of capital and funding & liquidity, whilst ensuring prudent risk management.

This role will focus on liquidity and funding management. Responsibilities include the following:

- Oversight of liquidity and funding management activities for HSBC Singapore
- Implement Global Treasury Policies and Procedures, ensuring that HSBC Singapore complies with Group policies and regulatory requirements
- Drive the annual Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process
- Maintain that the Liquidity Contingency Plan (“LCP”) and run the annual LCP testing drill
- Oversee internal and regulatory liquidity and funding reporting (i.e. MAS 649, NSFR)
- Oversee all liquidity stress testing
- Establish and implement a diversified and robust funding plan
- Ensure greater alignment between liquidity and capital frameworks; including management actions, stress testing and contingency planning and escalation
- Proactive engagement with Regional and Group Treasury teams to drive consistent and risk-based approach to liquidity risk policy formulation and implementation
- Assist with Treasury analytics and optimization initiatives
- Establish strong collaborative working relationships with Global Businesses, as well as Second Line of Defence, to develop effective business strategies, with deep understanding of external market/competition and local regulations
- Support Head of ALCM on ALCO matters

Requirements
- Prior experience of Treasury management covering liquidity and funding risk management
- Excellent understanding of liquidity and funding risks
- Degree holder with major in Accountancy / Business / Finance would be advantageous
- Proactive monitoring and compliance of all limits, triggers and reporting integrity of local and global minimum requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An optimization and growth mind-set that is both open and resilient to a rapidly evolving environment
