Singapore PENTA-OCEAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the tender team and establish the strategy of tender approach for on-going marine projects and upcoming projects not only in Singapore but also overseas.
- Require to take a chair tender meeting with team and consultant with sufficient knowledge and experience.
- Review the outcome of the design from consultants, provide professional comments on it, and polish up the design for a more competitive design.
- Liaise with potential suppliers and subcontractors for tender pricing and require to attend meetings with them for technical discussion.
- Review the Bill of Quantity(BQ) and advise appropriate feedback to tender QSs.
- Manage to provide conceptual construction sequence for planners in order for them to produce the tender programme and review and comment on it from time to time.
- Requires knowledge of marine construction vessels for tender works in order for the tender team to select the appropriate vessels for the projects for pricing and planning.
- Essentially required to have budget control skills for marine projects

**Job Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience in managing marine civil engineering works as a project manager, especially involvement in marine projects
- Proven track record in the construction of:

- Reclamation Works
- Breakwater Construction Works by Rubble Stone Method
- Jetty Construction Works by Steel Pipe Piles
- Completed 1 full cycle of a marine project with at least S$200 million contract value as a management member
- Experiences in JV projects with foreign companies (e.g. Japanese, Korean, South East Asian, and/or European construction companies) as a management staff
