Mott MacDonald Singapore is currently looking for a **Senior/Principal Civil Engineer** to support utilities design and coordination, sewage and drainage design across our multitude of infrastructure projects in Singapore. We currently are engaged on several major infrastructure projects so this will be an opportunity to work within large multi-disciplinary teams in a major project environment.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an intermediate / senior engineer looking to take ownership of technical and design tasks and coordination, in a client-facing role, working on Singapore’s largest infrastructure projects - making a tangible impact to our built environment.

**Some of the roles and responsibilities include**:

- Undertaking and providing design (including preliminary & detailed) and coordination of civil works such as utility systems, including water supply, sewage, drainage, and stormwater management.
- Analyse and propose utility diversion schemes and solutions for permanent and temporary stages.
- Preparation of authority submissions; and tender and construction drawing preparation.
- Working with and corresponding with government authorities & agencies, contractors, clients, sub consultants, etc for information gathering and approvals.
- Providing technical expertise in areas including earthworks, road construction, drainage systems, water supply, sewer systems, Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD), utilities, paving, minor civil structures, and geotechnical components.

**About you**:

- 5 years and above of relevant experience in Civil Engineering with a design & design coordination background.
- Proficiency and sound technical understanding on civil works (utilities, sewage, civil infrastructure etc) and relevant design codes (Eurocode), Singapore Standards and Codes of Practice, local Singapore government statutory
- Proficiency in Microstation, Civil3D will be an advantage
- Good understanding and knowledge of civil related regulation, standards, and reference of design - such as Euro Design Codes, Singapore Standards and Codes of Practice, and statutory requirements (LTA, BCA, PUB etc.), with hands on experience in usage of Civil Engineering Software.
- Excellent communication and articulation, writing and presentation skills
