Coupled with partnerships within the DBS network and with global institutions, we strive to build long-term relationships with our Private Banking clients in Asia by providing them with high quality, timely and extensive wealth management, investment and financial solutions.Wealth offers clients a broad array of investment services from execution, advisory, to discretionary portfolio management (“DPM”r;). In the area of DPM, the Bank owes a higher fiduciary duty of care to clients in ensuring compliance with the stated investment mandate.
The Managed Solutions Governance team provides oversight over the end-to-end activities of the segregated portfolios and collective investments managed by the in-house DPM team. You will support the Team Lead on:
- Establishing the governance framework and methodology in consultation with Chief Investment Officer, Compliance, Operations, Risk, as well as the DPM team.* Developing the required analytical tools for performing on-going surveillance of the portfolios.* Performing validation and verification over each portfolio to ensure compliance with the stated investment mandate, in terms of asset allocation, securities selection, concentration, ESG considerations, as well as any investment restrictions imposed by clients.* Ensuring that the DPM team applies best practices with regards to trade execution and trade allocation.* Performing validation of product and portfolio valuation, performance measurement, and fees computation.Requirements:
- Degree in Banking, Finance, Accountancy or a related discipline* At least 7-10 years of relevant experience in a similar control function in banking or asset management* Highly numerate and analytical* Ability to develop dashboards and statistical models to implement a strong governance framework* Strong risk and control mindset with a keen eye for detail* Professional qualification in CFA, CAIA or CFP would be an advantage
