**Position Overview**:
To warmly welcome customers to our establishment and explaining menu items and specials to customers, while being responsible for creating and serving hot, cold and specialty beverages in a consistent and efficient manner. To ensure all work areas are clean, sanitized and tidy at all times. And to collaborate with Management to ensure maximum customer satisfaction while increasing revenue for the establishment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers in a warm and professional manner.
- Offer beverage menus to customers when required and respond to questions regarding the establishment and ingredients used.
- Assist to take orders while being attentive to any dietary requirements or preferences.
- Assist to process payments while being attentive to method of payment and all items are correctly billed.
- Prepare beverages following recipes.
- Prepare food where necessary.
- Prepare and package food and beverage for sale and takeaway.
- Serve beverages and prepared food such as items prepared at the bar/barista/pastry counter.
- Keep bar area and utensils clean, sanitized and tidy at all times.
- Maintain inventory of clean and usable beverage service wares.
- Assist with bar and beverage inventory updates.
- Check on all barista and bar related equipments and utensils and report to Management on any maintenance needs.
- Comply with all heathy and safety regulations.
- Adhering to all food & beverage quality controls.
- Communicate customer feedback to Management and make recommendations.

**Requirements**:

- Positive, polite and engaging personality.
- Good interpersonal & communications skills.
- Excellent knowledge in speciality coffee beverages.
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipments.
- Skilled in latte art.
- Basic math skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to gauge customer preferences.
- A great team player.
- Proven work experience as a barista and in an F&B environment is required.
- Diploma or equivalent training is a plus.
- The 3 “R”s: Responsible, Resourceful & Reliable.
