**Job Description Summary**

The Engineering Operations Leader drives operational excellence across engineering processes by implementing standard work, lean workflows, and robust execution systems. This role ensures engineering deliverables flow efficiently from New Repair Introduction (NRI) through the repair lifecycle, enabling readiness for production and driving cross-functional alignment. The position plays a critical role in sustaining visibility and control through daily management and structured escalation processes. This role reports to the Engineering Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and connected workflows to ensure consistent, lean execution of engineering transactions from NRI through the repair lifecycle.
- Coordinate seamless handover of engineering deliverables—including equipment, fixtures, and tooling—to production, ensuring readiness, documentation, and support are in place.
- Lead and sustain the Engineering Daily Management System (DMS), Andon escalation process, and tier meeting rhythm to enable issue resolution and operational visibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, planning, quality) to drive workflow improvements, engineering readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage special process equipment movement, logistics planning, and change management in coordination with operations cells to support smooth transitions and minimize disruptions.
- Communicate operational updates, process changes, and performance insights to stakeholders while supporting audit readiness and visual management discipline.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering operations, manufacturing engineering, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of lean principles and experience with lean tools (e.g., standard work, kaizen, 5S, visual management).
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
