Responsibilities
Actively source and procure machine components and materials from both local and overseas suppliers Make on-going efforts to identify new suppliers and review current suppliers to maintain a pool of qualified suppliers Work closely with suppliers on delivery scheduling, quality issues, component specifications and certification requirements Able to manage suppliers well to secure best price, payment terms, lead time and ensure on-time delivery Manage and monitor project costing closely to achieve cost savings Monitor, ensure and maintain optimal inventory levels Prepare and generate documents in SAP Work closely with various teams in engineering, assembly and store to meet tight production schedules Adhere to company’s purchasing policies and procedures
**Requirements**:
Diploma or Degree in related discipline At least 2 years’ working experience in procurement function, preferably in the semiconductor industry Applicants who have more years of relevant experience will be considered for senior position Some technical knowledge in machine components is preferred Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills Good command of written and spoken English Able to speak, read and write Chinese to liaise with Chinese-speaking suppliers Organized, responsible, committed and meticulous with a positive work attitude Self-driven, self-motivated and proactive Able to work independently under pressure and tight schedules Able to work after office hours when required
