The Executive assist in the planning, coordination, implementation and integration of clinical quality programs across the hospital and support the Clinical Committee, its Quality Assurance subcommittees and quality improvement initiatives.
Support in the implementation of new medical programmes and services for the patient care continuum in YCH to the community and to support the Yishun Health Level Unified Care Model (UCM) structure.
Major
**Responsibilities**:
(A) Specific
1. Maintain clinical quality database integration and development as well as data analytics to support clinical decision-making to improve clinical quality and patient safety at hospital and department level.
2. Assist in identifying clinical quality and service quality issues through Hospital Incidents Reporting system and monitoring of clinical indicator performances. Work with relevant stakeholders to resolve these issues to uphold high standards of clinical practice.
3. Assist in building a culture of clinical quality and patient safety which include raising staff awareness of quality improvement initiatives and quality improvement tools.
4. Participate in data management and ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of data collection with quality and integrity.
5. Facilitate timely monthly submission of data to the Health Performance Office (HPO).
6. Assist in dissemination of MOH's policies related to Health Performance Office and quality matters.
(B) Administration
1) Assist Medical Director in supervisory framework.
2) Support Medical Director in the development and implementation of the new clinical programmes and the required data supporting system.
3) Provide support to respective Head/Deputy Head/ Manager of clinical departments on improvement initiatives and patient-centric work processes.
4) Assist in clinical feedback / complaints.
5) Responsibel for managing, monitoring and controlling identified risk and including the implementation of mitigation plans.
6) Manage patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.
(C) General
1. Support the alignment of the department's goals with YH campus goals.
2. Support staff development and learning.
3. Support corporate activities.
4. Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.
