We specialise in foreign exchange, credits and rates, structured derivatives, equities and debt, equity and equity-linked capital markets.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an **Associate, Equity Execution Asia.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- HSBC seeks a highly motivated individual keen to expand on their existing career within Pan Asia equities trading in a challenging client facing electronic sales trading role
- Empowered to help with the continued growth of the HSBC Global Banking and Markets equities electronic trading platform regionally within Asia through the coverage and servicing of a broad spectrum of existing client relationships
- Driving continued business expansion through the acquisition of new client opportunities and revenue streams

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Existing experience in Pan Asia equities trading, including client coverage.
- Knowledge and appreciation of regional market microstructure and core regulatory or exchange requirements
- Experience with algorithmic trading strategies and the provision of execution consultancy
- Understanding of the key components of trade cost analysis and ability to interpret outliers and trends
- Strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail
- Experience in equities client trading coverage, and skilled in prospecting and building new client relationships
- Fluency in Cantonese/Business Mandarin as the incumbent will be handling mainly Cantonese/Mandarin speaking only clients
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
