At ShopBack, our engineering teams build scalable platforms and utilize leading technologies to build a world-class product. **Responsibilities**:

- Produce high-quality software following good architecture and design principles that are scalable
- Design & delivery scalable data pipelines for computing features that feed our intelligent systems e.g. segmentation, experimentation, etc.
- Collaborate with product, data, and design to define the future of ShopBack's data-driven decision-making and experimentation culture.
- Strong mentoring skills with the ability to provide technical guidance and review code
- Contribute to the ideation, technical design, implementation, and testing of product features

**Requirements**:

- 7+ years of experience in developing backend systems and stream processing pipelines.
- Strong expertise on spark structured streaming/ flink
- Strong expertise on one or more of the backend languages NodeJs, Scala, or Java
- Proven experience designing distributed systems and complex event processing
- Strong experience leading the design and implementation of robust and highly scalable web services and stream processing pipelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex technical environment with high adaptability and flexibility
