**The Job**

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver features and fixes within the sprints according to the needs of the product line within deadlines
- Work with Product Managers and Designers to build features with performance, reliability, and security in mind
- Maintain code quality through intentional architecture, documentation and code review
- Contribute actively to technical and product discussions
- Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, etc.
- Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
- Architect and build efficient and scalable backend systems using Node and Express
- Write high-quality code that communicates with upstream backend services via HTTP APIs
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
- Participate in code reviews
- Utilize design, coding patterns, tools and frameworks and methods to meet the team sprint objectives and the overall quarterly team objectives
- Design and implement RESTful APIs

**Requirements**:

- BSc Degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of working experience in React Native
- Experience in designing and developing back-end services using NodeJS, GraphQL, supporting front-end stakeholders
- Comfortable with noSQL (MongoDB) databases and Github
- Proven architecture expertise at a multi-system level, writing scalable, efficient and clean code
- Good understanding of whole web stack, web protocols and web performance optimisation techniques
- Good understanding of the HTTP protocol
- Enjoy working in an Agile development environment and take initiative to improve systems
- Able to grasp complex concepts and communicate well
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $4,500.00 - $7,000.00 per month
