**Role Overview**: The HR Assistant Vice President is a key member of the leadership team of Sing-Ed Global Schoolhouse (SEGSH). He/ She champions and is responsible for the full cycle of HR processes and programmes.The focus is to design, develop HR strategies and execute critical capabilities aligned with the business objectives and priorities.Job Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of the HR strategic direction for SEGSH Group. Define and implement Human Resource strategies in line with the Company’s strategy and business priorities. Provide oversight and guidance to the HR teams (both locally and regionally), thereby driving a common HR agenda across these teams. Lead the HR teams in partnering and supporting the Schools and Business Units in the growth of business and development of our people, both locally and regionally. Execute the talent management process, including the identification of ‘successors’, emerging talents, and their development needs to build a sustainable leadership pipeline throughout the Company. Stimulate proactive succession management, aiming at a sustainable leadership pipeline, and nurturing an active career development system. With line management and country HR teams, create the appropriate staffing plans. Determine and manage effective sourcing strategies, referral recruitment, social media, job boards, recruitment agencies, career events, etc. Ensure a proper and timely Performance Management process, including calibration of performance ratings. Formulates an equitable and competitive Compensation and Benefits policy, in line with corporate remuneration policy and local requirements, to contribute to attracting, motivating, and retaining high-quality employees. Support and facilitate employees in making personal development plans and ensuring the availability of development opportunities, making use of corporate Learning & Development, external providers of courses and coaching, projects, and other learning opportunities. Be responsible for the HR streams in Mergers & Acquisition projects and subsequent integration activities. Manage the HR service delivery and drive the professionalization of the HR team and HR service delivery. Support a compliance culture and handles Ethics & Compliance issues in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Ensure that statutory requirements and company policy is understood and applied. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management.Requirements and Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or in a related field Well-verse in employment regulations and HR best practices Minimum 12 years of relevant experience (including 3 years as an HR Department Head in a similar capacity) Prior work exposure in education industry and regional experience preferred Experience in acquisitions & mergers will be advantageous Strong leadership qualities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
