**JOB PURPOSE**

KYAN Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Lab Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our clinical laboratory in Singapore. The Lab Manager will be responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring compliance with laboratory safety regulations. This role will also be appointed as Section Leader for KYAN’s clinical lab.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Develop and maintain laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality and safety of testing.
- Maintain laboratory inventory and ordering of supplies, equipment, and reagents. This includes input to Senior Management and Finance Manager for budgeting.
- Oversee the maintenance, evaluation, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Monitor laboratory safety, quality controls and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Maintain laboratory records, including protocols, data, and reports.
- Provide training and guidance on laboratory techniques and procedures and ensure competency of personnel.
- Help to continuously evaluate laboratory processes, implement improvements, and resolve technical issues.

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, And SKILLS**
- Preferred bachelor’s degree or above in biology, chemistry, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years clinical laboratory experience required.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety regulations and standards.
- Experience with laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
