**Some of the key responsibilities will include**:

- Manage a team and assume overall compliance responsibility for the Asian jurisdiction
- Provide compliance advisory to the business in accordance to the firm’s compliance culture and regulatory standards
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure the firm’s compliance policies and procedures are up-to-date
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and provide guidance to business units on regulatory matters
- Review and approve marketing materials, client communications and other business-related documents
- Conduct compliance training for staff and monitor their adherence to policies and procedures
- Manage the firm’s relationships with regulators and industry associations

**To be eligible for this role you will require**:

- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in compliance, preferably with a hedge fund
- Prior Asian hedge fund compliance experience is a must
- Strong product knowledge is a must i.e. equities, macro, credit, commodities, etc
- Strong knowledge of global and regional regulatory requirements, including SEC, MAS, and SFC
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law or related field
