Singapore Supreme Court Full time

**What the role is**
- You will be a member of the Legal Directorate team who is responsible for the management and disposal of cases, including the processing, storing, retrieving of court documents, and fixing hearings for matters which commenced in the Supreme Court.

**What you will be working on**
- assist in the review and interpretation of new legislation or amendments to legislation as well as assess the impact on existing workflows and systems and translate process changes into requirements for system enhancements and/or technology integration;
- contribute to the preparation of user requirement specification for any system enhancements or new system/software requirement specification due to new legislation or amendments to legislation;
- review system/software requirement specification and coordinate Registry users’ inputs as well as provide inputs on front-end user requirements;
- lead and facilitate sessions to elicit and understand the Knowledge Management needs of various teams in the Registry and Legal Directorate;
- analyse and define the Registry’s and Legal Directorate’s operations and information management requirements to derive a Knowledge Management Strategy and Framework including defining the processes, best practices and governance requirements;
- lead, actively contribute to and coordinate the development of the Knowledge Management Strategy and Framework and the associated implementation plan;
- execute and implement the Knowledge Management Strategy and Framework according to the approved plan;
- identify opportunities for innovation, improvements to existing processes, procedures and policies;
- review, formulate and implement changes to standard operating procedures, workflows, processes and practices, where required;
- oversee capacity building and support for internal knowledge acquisition. Support development of staff on all aspects of knowledge management; and - participate in other strategic projects which have significant impact on the operations of the Legal Directorate, where required.

**What we are looking for**
- Must be a legally qualified person with 3-5 years of relevant working experience. Private practice background in dispute resolution and familiarity with front-end user requirements will be an advantage - Past training or experience in developing Enterprise Knowledge Management Framework and/or implementing Enterprise Content Management Solutions, Information Governance, Search and Taxonomy / metadata preferred - Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem solving skills - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written - Organised and meticulous - Pro-active and able to work independently - Team player with strong organisation and people management skills
