**Job Purpose**

We are seeking an experienced project manager to join our enterprise platform delivery team. As project manager, you will be responsible for the planning, development, delivery, and deployment of our regional life and health core system. You will oversee multiple modules that aim to improve staff productivity as well as process automation while being reusable across OEs. You will work closely with the development team, as well as other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

**What you do**
You will:

- Lead & Manage the full lifecycle of backend development projects (including the successful integration of the platform with existing systems), from concept to delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Leverage domain and technical expertise to set direction and drive project execution. Foresee and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies
- Work with business, operations, internal technology teams, and vendor partners to ensure successful project delivery
- Act as the primary liaison between the vendor and internal technology teams
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, IT architects, and other stakeholders to develop OE-specific delivery roadmaps and resource planning, and communicate progress to stakeholders
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that project requirements are clearly defined and understood and that technical and requirement specifications are accurate and complete
- Manage project budgets, and work with stakeholders to ensure that resources are allocated appropriately
- Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment that promotes creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, and provide regular project updates
- Ensure core system rollout to OEs in line with our regional IT strategy and roadmap
- Support the development of a regional delivery roadmap

**What you bring**
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a dynamic leader with at least 5 years in IT project management managing development and delivery projects
- Experience in the life & health insurance business working on technology transformation and implementation programs
- Strong knowledge of backend development languages and frameworks
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage resources, and track progress against milestones
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Experience working in an agile development environment, and knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience working with remote teams and vendors
- Outstanding teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different business functions, OEs, and countries
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage the delivery of complex, integration projects in a matrix organisation
- Basic understanding of insurance products and distribution
- Working experience in the Asia Pacific and/or European region will be an added advantage
- Strong technology delivery capability and leadership from strategy alignment, solution design, E2E program/project delivery to problem-solving
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
