**Responsibilities**
- Carry out full-time supervision of construction works for the construction of civil and structural works following the Project specifications, construction drawings and Building Control Act and Regulations.
- Review and check all the drawings, and specifications, and ensure that works are conducted following the approved plans/drawings.
- Highlight discrepancies, safety and non-conformances to Resident Engineer (RE).
- Quality control of all civil, structural, and architectural works such as inspecting materials and workmanship and performing tests to check the quality of materials.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of site experience in the supervision of building and foundation works.
- Experience in steel buildings with piling construction is preferable.
- Hold at least a Diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Registered as a Resident Technical Officer with IES-ACES Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC).
- Fluent in Mandarin as this role will need to work closely with Chinese counterparts.
- Willingness to carry out periodic overseas inspections of steel structural modules in Shanghai, China. The frequency can be once in one or two months.
