**The Company**

The client is a growing and prominent player within the shipping industry with a network of offices overseas. As they have been growing from strength to strength, there is now a need to recruit an experienced Accountant to join their growing team in Singapore.

**The Position**

Working closely and reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accountant will be in charge of the financial accounting and statutory reporting for the group, subsidiaries, branches and joint venture companies. The accountant will be involved in month end closing, preparation of group financial statements, annual reporting packs, and the preparation of monthly balance sheet. There will be a need to liaise with external auditors and be involved in any ad-hoc projects.
