**About GlobalFoundries**

**Job Summary**
Maintain and support equipment readiness for Etch module. Typically performs one or more of the following in capacity of either an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently), or as a manager:

- Oversee preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of equipment team ensuring equipment readiness and minimize downtime
- Drive equipment improvement plans and projects
- Ensure the team to follow good safety practices and custody of tools
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements
- Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed. Work hand in hand with Process team, and other parties eg (IE, Planner, Manufacturing, Production Control, Facility, PI/YE etc) for day to day operation excellence to meet fab related KPIs and projects.

**Job Complexity**
- Develops new methods of problem solving for department
- Integrates work of own department with other departments. Has to consider impact of solutions to other departments and find overall solutions; can be in global environment
- Has to consider interdisciplinary aspects
- Generally solves issues in principle, leaves specifics to staff
- Has full staffing responsibility
- Balances short term and long term goals,
- Balances financial, resource and people issues

**Accountability**
- Accountable for budget and end results for area managed including cost management.
- Work is guided by functional strategy and area goals and operational objective.
- Sets area objectives and work plans in alignment with functional strategy.
- Ensures that procedures, processes and standards are continuously reviewed, tested and aligned with the business.

**Relationship Focus**
- Builds cross-functional and cross-regional partnerships across GlobalFoundries.
- Provides coaching and mentoring to team
- Guides and influences key decisions made by senior management in own function.
