The Human Resource (HR) Generalist is a multifaceted role that plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth-running organization. As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks encompassing the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to retirement.

The HR Generalist is a dynamic role that offers the opportunity to partner with various departments and directly impact the company culture.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Recruitment and Onboarding**:You'll be involved in attracting top talent through various channels, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and assisting in the selection process. You'll also play a key role in onboarding new hires, ensuring they have a positive first impression and are well-equipped to succeed in their roles.
- **Employee Relations**:The HR Generalist is often the first point of contact for employees with questions or concerns. You'll provide guidance on company policies and procedures, address employee relations issues, and mediate any conflicts that may arise.
- **Benefits and Compensation**:You'll play a part in administering employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and keeping employees informed of their options. This may involve tasks like processing paperwork for enrollment and answering questions about health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.
- **Compliance**:Staying up-to-date on employment laws and regulations is crucial. You'll be responsible for ensuring the organization adheres to all labor laws and maintains a safe and fair work environment. This may involve tasks like updating policies and procedures, and keeping HR leadership informed of any changes required.
- **Training and Development**:You may also be involved in developing and implementing training programs to help employees enhance their skills and knowledge. This could involve coordinating with external training providers or creating in-house training materials.
- **Performance Management**:Assisting with performance reviews and employee development plans.
- **Maintaining Employee Records**:Ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data in HRMS systems.
- **Risk Management**:Identifying and mitigating potential risks related to HR issues.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- Strong understanding with prior experience in Employment Practices and Regulations is required.
- A self-starter who is able to plan, organize and take initiative to meet objectives and deadlines independently in a fast paced environment.
- Proficient in Infotech HRMS and MS office programs (eg: strong knowledge of mail merge, v-lookup, pivot table).
