Our client is a global investor into the real estate and infrastructure equity/credit private markets, they have a multibillion dollar portfolio with a significant allocation already in Asia.

With an increased focus on Asia Pacific growth and allocation, this investor has approved a new headcount for the APAC business. This person will lead product development and design in Asia, while also supporting the sales team and the businesses fund raising efforts, including structuring, creating documentation and communication with investors.

The product specialist will report to the Global Head of Product and is a critical hire to the platform in region. This person will:

- Lead the regional product management function across Asia, focusing on real estate and infrastructure products.
- Work with regional investment and business development teams and the global product development team to design, develop and executive APAC strategies.
- Lead fund formation in Asia.
- Be an effective and diligent project manager, able to drive internal and external projects and communicate with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
- Supervise the creation and delivery of all investor relations materials, including quarterly reports, monthly newsletters, and ad-hoc research reports for investor/fundraising roadshows.
- Ensure financial budgets and forecasts are formulated in accordance with fund strategies.
- Support the team on other strategic initiatives and to build the team as related to APAC real estate fundraising.

Must have following experience/ skills/ qualifications:

- A degree in business, banking, property finance or relevant experience. Postgraduate qualifications would be an advantage.
- +7 years’ experience in a product specialist position, or similar.
- Understanding of real estate and infrastructure private fund structuring and track record of capital raising as a product manager.
- Understanding of the real estate and infrastructure investment life cycle and asset valuation.
- Demonstrable people and project management skills and experience in building and leading successful teams, and track record of working with challenging stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and facilitate initiatives to support wider business operations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and one Asian language.
