**What the role is**
- Enhance service delivery in the social service sector, through engagements, service planning, monitoring and evaluation so as to meet the unmet and underserved needs in the sector. This work will help identify the landscape of social services and community assets map, provide technical assistance to build capabilities of social services, and support social services to ensure delivery of quality, innovative and sustainable services.

**What you will be working on**
- Lead a team of managers to: 1. Shape the Social Service Landscape a) Develop the landscape of social services and community assets map b) Review and identify gaps in social service by analysing trends and needs of service users c) Work with government agencies, social service agencies and other community partners to address the interests of services users d) Provide support in the formulation of overall strategic directions for social services in the sector or regional areas. 2. Collaborate with Social Service Agencies on New Services a) Assess funding proposals of new programmes in accordance with NCSS’ service and funding priorities b) Collaborate with social service agencies on the conceptualisation and service model of new programmes, including developing and encouraging innovative service models, harnessing community assets and facilitating the adoption and awareness for these new programmes 3. Review Existing Services a) Prepare and share regular performance analyses of social service programmes with relevant stakeholders for service planning and funding decisions. b) Assess funding renewals in the review and enhancement of existing programmes c) Manage existing service providers to meet service gaps and needs d) Provide technical assistance to social service agencies in the review or enhancement of social services 4. Create Linkages Within the Community a) Promote and develop close relations with Social Service Agencies and other relevant stakeholders through networks, visits and other appropriate means in order to build and share knowledge b) Facilitate and promote inter-agency and community linkages, in order to better integrate services, promote person-centred, collective impact and community asset-based approaches.

**What we are looking for**
- Personal Competencies: Resilient; Team player but also able to work independently; Foresight; Analytical; Think Critically, Creative, Good interpersonal skills Skills & Knowledge: Service design and development skills Programme monitoring and evaluation skills Stakeholder Management Skills Experience: At least 6 years work experience in social service sector. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
