The business leaders are keen to utilize the data to drive growth and deliver customer service. The Data Management Team will manage and govern the overall datasets of the organization and drive the execution of how the data will be collected, stored, processed and applied across the organization. The company is seeking a high energy individual to lead the Data Governance & MDM team.
- Defining, documenting, implementing and reviewing Data Governance framework and related policies to ensure relevance to organization needs.
- Working with data stewards to conduct data quality gap analysis, identify the measurement metrics and reporting.
- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure critical data issues are resolved timely.
- Ensure consistent use of data definitions, authorized data sources, and derivations within the organization.
- Collaborate with Business and Technology stakeholders to ensure data-related business requirements are clearly defined and documented.
- Develop, measure and report effectiveness of the data governance program to management team.
- Information and content management to maintain the metadata and data catalog.
- Bachelor’s degree in computing or any related discipline with 10+ years of working experience.
- Minimum 5 years of data governance and data quality management experience.
- Strong analytical, communication and project management skills, including the ability to gather user requirements and identify potential solutions.
- Knowledge in Data Management Association(DAMA) data governance frameworks.
- Ability to interact both in written and verbal forms.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and technically challenging environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
