Commercial Transaction Analyst, Real Estate and

Minimum qualifications:

- 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, and with financial modeling/planning and analysis.
- 3 years of experience in data analytics and synthesize data.
- Experience working on regional or global real estate transactions.

Preferred qualifications:

- Professional qualification such as ACA or ARICS.
- Experience with real estate analysis for large-scale complex projects across multiple regions.
- Experience advising on a broad range of commercial issues encountered in the acquisition and development of a global real estate portfolio.
- Experience working on and delivering results at a consistently high volume across a variety of sophisticated real estate transactions.
- Ability to have innovative solutions and talent for bringing individuals and teams together to work collaboratively to deliver projects within tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and strategic thinking.

**About the job**:
As a Commercial Transaction Analyst within Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS), you will provide transactional advice and support to their Regional Director and their Global Director to whom they report and other members of the regional real estate commercial teams. You will be an integral part of the Strategy and Transaction team providing consistent and high quality analyses that informs the strategic direction of real estate actions, facilitate real estate strategic and transactional reporting, and assist the evolution of Google’s future real estate strategy.

In this role, you will focus on a regional portfolio and will be a trusted and knowledgeable partner coordinating with internal and external cross-functional teams. This involves directly supporting the Strategic and Transactions decisions which would include Google’s implementation of Google’s expenditure through the real estate lifecycle, from strategy development to real estate approval and implementation. This position is built around teamwork and meeting customer needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with the Regional Director of Real Estate Strategy and Transaction, and other partnering teams to model a variety of real estate strategies and transactions that balance business priorities within a global framework.
- Develop creative and impactful analyses to drive real estate decisions and direction of portfolio, advising on risks and providing strategic business advice to leadership teams.
- Take an active role in evolving portfolio analysis, and work collaboratively with other analysts to share best practices and process improvements.
