Unibino is a Singapore-based children's book publisher with a mission to inspire kids through creative storytelling. We are dedicated to producing high-quality illustrated children's books that spark curiosity and passion for the many career choices that await our young readers' futures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Head Writer
- Create original written content for illustrated children's books aimed at children aged 5 to 10
- Present written drafts for approval in a timely manner
- Adhere to editorial guidelines while maintaining creativity
- Proofread and edit written pieces for errors, fact-checks, inconsistencies, and overall readability
- Research content
- Source and commission translators and other freelancers as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in English, communication studies, journalism, or a related field
- Proven writing and editing experience, preferably in a similar role (blogs acceptable)
- Strong interest in children's books
- Ability to manage time, prioritize deadlines, and balance multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to tailor writing style to suit the diverse target audience
- Proficiency with Google Suite
- Based in Singapore

**Work Arrangement**:
We are open to full-time, part-time, and commission-based work arrangements for this position. Full-time writers and part-time writers will be responsible for working on multiple book projects, while commission-based writers will be paid for each completed script.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Freelance, Permanent

**Salary**: $2,500.00 - $4,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
