**About the role**

As a fast-expanding organization, we are hiring a Workplace Specialist in our Singapore office to manage facilities and foster Carousell's culture values with the goal of building a happy and high performing workplace. You will be part of the People Experience team to create fun, meaningful and memorable moments. This role is integral to supporting our employees and aids in fostering a proactive, mission first, high-performing culture. You will be working closely with our People Experience Manager, organisation development and business partnering teammates to bring empathy, fun and insights to our workplace, creating an inclusive and conducive environment for our employees to thrive in.

**You will**:

- Report to the Lead of People Experience to develop an environment our teams thrive in
- Be responsible for creating a workplace, physical and virtual, which supports and facilitates the culture we want to build for the organisation and inspire our teams to live our values and work towards the achievement of our mission and vision.
- Manage the workplace operations of the Singapore office, including facilities, office and security matters, and consult for your peers who are responsible for other offices outside of SG
- Manage space requirements to support our transition from a fully on premise workplace to a hybrid one as well as lead office move and renovation projects.
- Develop environmental health and safety procedures for facilities. These procedures include emergency action plans, disaster recovery, business continuity, and other related procedures.
- Co-own and continuously improve the effectiveness of the new hire onboarding programme, _Essentials _and _Carousell101_
- Develop strong relationships with coworkers across functions and teams to have a good pulse of the company and partner our respective business partners to build/enhance employee engagement, boost bonding within teams and improve collaboration across teams
- Conceptualise and roll out of internal events, engagement programmes and initiatives and ensure we deliver them on time and within budget.

**You Have**:

- Minimum 5 years of Community Management / Events Management / HR administration, or facilities experience preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills; extreme orientation to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Graceful under pressure and deadlines; able to manage multiple projects at once
- Flexible, able to adapt to changing priorities and conditions as well as cope effectively with complexity and change
- Gregarious and approachable personality that works easily with internal and external partners
- Resourceful, proactive, positive, 'can-do' attitude; no job is too big or too small
- Proficiency with Gmail, Google Docs, GCal, Microsoft Office, Slack, and ability to use a Mac.
